The client had previously occupied a large building in Randburg to house 700 staff working at the global leader in the financial services industry. However, electing to relocate to a smaller two floor office in Sandton accommodating 500 staff necessitated an office design which was more efficient and space effective and was designed by Head Interiors.
Barker Street was appointed to manufacture and install the project based on the unique Hardcore desking range. This distinctive range offered both matching open plan and cellular workstations with gentle curves to the worktops, storage and screening.
Even though the company’s new offices are significantly reduced in size, the end result was a more spacious and thoughtfully designed workspace, providing ample workstations and meeting rooms along with introducing interactive collaborative spaces to encourage staff to connect for internal meetings as well as to meet clients. Both Head Interiors and the end Client were “thrilled with the end result.”
